Why your result may differ from other calculations
If you've seen a different result elsewhere, here is where the differences usually come from:
- 1 Birth time — the ascendant shifts roughly every 4 minutes, so an approximate time leads to a different result.
- 2 Time zone and daylight saving — we correctly apply the historical time zone in effect on your birth date; many tools skip this step.
- 3 House system — Placidus, Koch and Whole Sign are different systems, and different tools use them differently, so they can show different houses and positions.
- 4 ChatGPT and AI tools don't compute real ephemerides — they generate text from language patterns, not astronomical positions, so the positions they give are often made up.
